Flower Drops with Rhodolite Garnet

These flower drop earrings were made for part of a winter exhibition here in Perthshire.
Each flower has been handcut out of 1.5mm thick solid sterling silver sheet and then domed slightly in a doming block. In the centre of each flower there is a 5mm vibrant Rhodolite Garnet, one of my favourite gemstones, set in a sterling silver rub over setting. The flower is 12mm in diameter.
At the top of each flower is a little bail, soldered to the back of the flower, for the ear hook to attach to. Total drop, from the top of the hook to the bottom of the flower, is 27mm.
Each earring weighs 3.1g.
Only one pair available and they are ready to post.
