Rings for Things Necklace with 9ct Rose Gold

£155.00

2023 was the big ’50’ year for myself and many of my very close friends.  Leisa, my best friend from my impressionable teenage years and early 20’s, is not a huge jewellery wearer but I wanted to make her something special that she could keep, and hopefully wear, forever.  I am delighted to say this pendant hit the spot and my friend loves to wear it.

I liked the idea of representing the five decades in some way and decided to revisit a timeless design I had used for a custom order I made a good few years ago.  This circle pendant is small but eyecatching and I wanted to make a chunkier version than I had made before.  The pendant I made my friend actually had solid 9ct yellow gold rings on the base circle.  The nice thing about this pendant is it can be used to represent many things…. Decades, Children, Grandchildren, Husbands (ha ha).

The base circle of the pendant is 2.5mm thick solid sterling silver round wire, which has been line textured on one side and left smooth on the reverse, and it measures approximately 16mm in diameter.  There are six rings – four are solid sterling silver and two are solid 9ct rose gold (one of the silver rings is for the chain to run through at the top). Five of the rings are designed to freely rotate the base circle.  The little rings are hand made out of 1.5mm thick round wire and each one is handmade and hammered flat to give it a squared off look.  The little rings are approximately 7mm in diameter.

The chain I have chosen to use for this design of pendant is an 18″ solid sterling silver Curb Chain.

Material – solid sterling silver and solid 9ct rose gold.

The Rings for Things pendant arrives in a Silverpickle gift box, tied with ribbon and includes a little polishing cloth.

One available and it is ready to post.
