Who doesn’t love the magic of the Aurora Borealis?  Aurora Opal is a manmade/synthetic material that mimics the colour swirling magic of both the Northern Lights and the semi-precious Opal gemstone.  The fact that it is manmade elimitates all the weaknesses of genuine Opal.  Aurora Opal is hardy and non-pourous, so less likely to chip or break when setting/wearing, and you don’t need to worry about it aborbing water and drowning those magical colours.

I discovered Aurora Opal and was instantly smitten with the extraordinary flashes of colours and how they change in various lights. They really are mesmerising.

Your Aurora Ring will be made to order, in your required size, and you can email me if you would like to see what stones are in stock, before you order, so you can choose your own Aurora Opal.  Your ring will be completely unique to you and you can carry those Northern Lights around with you wherever you go.

The Aurora stone is oblong in shape and approximately 8mmx10mm (each is individually cut). It will be set in sterling silver and the ring shank is 5mm in width, 1.5mm thick and sparkle textured on the outer surface.  You can choose your specified ring size and I recommend a half size increase for comfort as the width of the ring is slightly wider than a standard ring width.
