Description
If you have followed me for a while you will know that Silverpickle is known for its Hebridean Bangles. I have been making them for 8 years now, after being inspired by a trip to Lewis/Harris. My interpretation of the string of islands (all the charms) that hug mainland Scotland (the bangle). These bangles have made their way, not only to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, around the world.
This is a chunky version of my traditional Hebridean Bangle, which you can find in the bangle section of my shop.
I went with the 4mm thick chunky solid sterling silver wire for the bangle and added some slightly chunkier charms to the mix too. The four dotty rings are 2.5mm thick and the four, usually flat rings, are made out of 2.5×1.7mm oval wire, which I twisted to add further texture. The 2.5mm thick open heart charm and the rings charms are the same as standard and this time I added three ring charms, one with a 4mm African Amethyst (perfect for a February Birthday), one with a silver star and one with a silver handcut heart.
The bangle is a large size (7cm inside diameter) but I can reduce it to a medium or small if you get in touch first.
Total weight 45.8g.
Hallmarked in Edinburgh.
Only one available and ready to.post.
This bangle will arrive in a Silverpickle giftbox, tied with ribbon and includes a little polishing cloth.
