My love of hearts and obsession with wax carving continues!
This chunky open heart was carved one afternoon, sitting outside in the sunshine, and when it was finished I knew I had to cast it in solid sterling silver to see what it would be like. It exceeded my expectations and looks really amazing on a chunky sterling silver belcher chain.
The heart itself weighs 13.9g, measures 35mm x 35mm and is hallmarked on the reverse.
This necklace is available and ready to post. The belcher chain length is 16″ and the total length of the piece, including the heart, is almost 19″. You can see the length of it on me in the wind swept pictures in the gallery. The chain length can be shortened so please message me with your preferred chain length for this piece. Total weight of the piece (with this chain length) is 28.8g.
The chain is attached to the heart by 1.5mm thick handmade rings, the heart moves through the rings freely, and has a chunky lobster clasp for closure.
Hallmarked in Edinburgh.
This piece will arrive in a Silverpickle gift box, tied with ribbon and includes a silver polishing cloth.
