Description
I LOVE this bracelet!
This is my favourite piece from Winter Exhibition I took part in. I made the flower first, handcut from 1.5mm thick sterling silver sheet and decided, rather than it being a dangly charm, I wanted it to be part of a solid feature of the bracelet. I made the centre of the flower a solid 9ct gold disc, which brought a bit of contrast to the piece.
I melted down some off cuts of sterling silver and put the molten pebble through my rolling mill (100 times!) until it formed a natural oblong shape, which I decided to keep. On the last roll I put some sandpaper in with it and it gave the surface a bit of a rustic texture.
The flower looked a wee bit lonely on its own so I made one of my little leaf accents, which was the perfect addition to the front bar of this bracelet.
The chain is a premade solid sterling silver oval belcher chain and the closure is a toggle style with a chunky t-bar and circle, handmade out of 2.5mm thick sterling silver wire.
The total length of this bracelet is 19cm and it would be best suited for a 17cm wrist circumference.
Total weight 18.9g.
Hallmarked in Edinburgh.
Only one available and it us ready to post.
This bracelet will arrive in a Silverpickle gift box, tied with ribbon and includes a little polishing cloth.
