Flower Bar Necklace

A one of a kind chunky necklace from the Winter Exhibition I took part in at Birnam Arts this year. Each piece in my collection was unique and all part of a flower theme.
This necklace is all one piece with the chunky oval link Blecher chain being attached to the statement bar at the front. The bar has been made out of 2.5mm thick solid sterling silver round wire with circles soldered onto the ends to permanently attach the chain to. I made two of my little chunky leaf accennts, using a steel die, which I soldered onto the bar with a gap in the middle for the flower charm.
The flower charm was hand cut out of 1.5mm thick sterling silver sheet and it has a solid 9ct yellow gold disc for the centre piece. There is a circle bail attached to the top of the flower and the bar runs through this. The flower charm can move from side to side between the two leaf stoppers. The word ‘love’ has been stamped on the back of the flower charm.
The necklace has a toggle closure made up of a chunky handmade circle and T-bar. This sits at the back of the neck.
