Kyanite is fast becoming one if my favourite gemstones. The depth of colour is mesmerising.
This chunky flower ring offered the perfect centre point to set one of my deep blue Kyanite cabochons. The flower has been handcut out if 1.5mm thick sterling silver sheet. Each petal shaped by hand and then the flower has been domed to give a lovely outward curve. The flower measures 15mm in diameter and the Kyanite is 5mm.
The ring itself is 5mm in width and 1.5mm thick solid sterling silver, making it all lovely and chunky, with a sparkle texture finish. UK size Q.5.
Total weight 6.6g.
