In 2022 I started to challenge myself to make new pieces using sterling silver off cuts from my scrap pot.  This became my #scrappotchallenge and I made a number of pieces of jewellery that stretched me creatively and I absolutely loved coming up with new ideas on a whim.  The day I made my first little pair of flower stud earrings I ended up having to make a dozen more in the following days as they were so popular.

Over the last few months, since making that first pair of flower earrings, I have practiced, played around with the design, thinned out the silver and made them slightly smaller than the original, chunky pair.  Basically I have refined and perfected them and I have even made a slightly bigger version so that they can have a bail added and then be worn as a drop earring or a charm on a chain.  I am so pleased with this little flower and how it has evolved.

Each Little Flower stud is 8mm in diameter and weighs 1g (including the butterfly) in solid sterling silver.  Based on the shape of the tiny Forget-me-not blooms these have five petals and are the perfect gift for someone you want to keep in your thoughts.
