Description
I love digging into my scrap-pot and creating pieces of jewellery from the offcuts I have collected from previous creations. I call these pieces my ‘scrap-pot challenge’ pieces.
Always made from solid sterling silver, saved in my ‘clean’ scrap-pot, where the metal has not been heated and it has no had solder used on it.
These earrings have been made by fusing a rectangular piece of wire and a puece if dotty wire using the heat of the torch. The metal has fully melted and flowed slightly, leaving a unique molten texture on the surface and fusing the dotty wire to the side.
The length of each piece is 24mm (30mm with the bail) and the width is 8mm. Each earring weighs 4.3g, including the ear hook.
These earrings are ready to post and will arrive in a Silverpickle gift box, tied with ribbon and includes a little polishing cloth.
