I was asked if I could make a set of two stacking rings with an ‘organic feel’ and they were needed in quite a short space of time for a gift.  I had a little experiment with wire I had in the workshop and got a really nice effect from twisting oval wire.

Using 2.5mm wide x 1.7mm thick oval wire gave the best result as I could get a good twist and still create a perfect round without distorting the oval profile of the wire and in turn the organic look.

Made to your specified ring size each solid sterling silver ring is completely unique in its form and feel.  These rings have a wonderful feel to them and are incredibly tactile. They stack well together in a way that traditional rings don’t, as they have movement in their solidity.
