Rings for Things Necklace with 9ct Yellow Gold

£255.00

2023 was the big ’50’ year for myself and many of my very close friends.  Leisa, my best friend from my impressionable teenage years and early 20’s, is not a huge jewellery wearer but I wanted to make her something special that she could keep, and hopefully wear, forever.  I am delighted to say this pendant hit the spot and my friend loves to wear it.

I liked the idea of representing the five decades in some way and decided to revisit a timeless design I had used for a custom order I made a good few years ago.  This circle pendant is a bit larger than my standard Rings for Things pendant and the nice thing about this pendant is it can be used to represent many things…. Decades, Children, Grandchildren, Husbands (ha ha).

The base circle of the pendant is 2.5mm thick solid sterling silver round wire, which has been left smooth on both sides, and it measures approximately 22mm in diameter (the standard base ring is 16mm).  There are six rings – 1 is solid sterling silver (for the chain to run through at the top) and five are solid 9ct yellow gold. The five gold rings are designed to freely rotate the base circle.  The little rings are made out of 1.5mm thick round wire and each one is handmade and hammered flat to give it a squared off look.  The little rings are approximately 7mm in diameter.

The chain I have chosen to use for this design of pendant is an 18″ solid sterling silver Curb Chain but, if you prefer 20″ just let me know in the notes at checkout.

Material – solid sterling silver and solid 9ct yellow gold.

The total weight of the pendant is 4.8g.

Hallmarked in Edinburgh.

This Rings for Things pendant is ready to post and will arrive in a Silverpickle gift box, tied with ribbon and includes a little polishing cloth.

One available.
