Description
With the current cost of silver I have been dipping into my scrap pots more and more. I have always enjoyed a ‘scrap pot challenge’ and today I used up a skinny squiggle bangle, that had not passed my quality control a while ago, and turned half of it into a pair of hoop earrings.
The solid sterling silver wire used is 2.5mm thick and had already been ‘squigglefied’ so I shaped it into two circles and soldered a little ball of silver at one end, to work as a stopper for the charm, and an earring post at the other end.
Thd little flower charms are cut out of 1mm thick sterling silver sheet and have a little silver ball as the centre piece. I attached a bail big enough for the hoop to go through but not big enough to pass over the stopper.
These hoops are solid and chunky, made to last.
Each hoop has a diameter of 20mm and the total weight of the hoop and charm together is 4.2g.
Only one pair available and they are ready to post.
These earrings will arrive in a Silverpickle gift box, tied with ribbon and includes a little polishing cloth.
