Triple Chain Bracelet with Double Heart Charm

This piece is a bit of a one-off. I had some short lengths of belcher chain, off-cuts from necklace lengths, and thought they looked quite nice sitting together in a line. Next thing I know I am making a toggle bracelet and adding chunky heart charms to it. I actually thought about keeping this one but had to remind myself I made myself a new bangle recently with heart charms and I really must start saving for Christmas!!
I am actually so pleased with the end result as this bracelet looks really amazing on the wrist. Chunky but still lightweight in a way, because of the three strands of chain. My favourite part is the two chunky heart charms – they are really lovely and tactile.
The chain itself is a 4.3mm chunky solid sterling silver Belcher Chain and each strand is 15cm in length. The chain is held together by 1.5mm thick solid sterling silver handmade rings, which are then attached to the chunky toggle closure. Each part of the toggle closure, the circle and the T-bar, have been made out of 2.5mm thick sterling silver round wire.
The two heart charms have been hand cut out of 3mm thick solid sterling silver sheet that hang off, and rotate, the circle end of the toggle closure. Each heart is unique in its shape.
The total weight of the bracelet is 27.8g and the whole piece is solid sterling silver and hallmarked in Edinburgh – the hallmark is on the reverse of the larger heart charm.
For sizing – the total length of the bracelet, end of circle to end of T-bar, is 19.5cm. The length from the end of the T-bar to the inner circle is 18.5cm. This bracelet would suit a 17.5cm wrist circumference.
