Who doesn’t love the magic of the Aurora Borealis?  Aurora Opal is a manmade/synthetic material that mimics the colour swirling magic of both the Northern Lights and the semi-precious Opal gemstone.  The fact that it is manmade elimitates all the weaknesses of genuine Opal.  Aurora Opal is hardy and non-pourous, so less likely to chip or break when setting/wearing, and you don’t need to worry about it absorbing water and drowning those magical colours.

These Aurora Opal stud earrings will be made to order and you can email me if you would like to see what stones are in stock, before you order, so you can choose your own Aurora Opals.  If I don’t hear from you I will just pick the flahiest Aurora Opals I have.  Your earrings will be completely unique to you and you can carry those Northern Lights around with you wherever you go.

Each Aurora stone is oval in shape and approximately 7mm x 9mm (each stone is individually hand cut so size may vary slightly). The Aurora Opals will each be set in a solid sterling silver handmade setting.
